Materials Exchange Onboarding Guide

Materials Exchange serves as the single "Front Door" for content delivery into WBD's Foundry media supply chain. In addition to media upload functionality, it provides component-by-component and overall statuses of the content received and processed by the ingest and QC workflows.

To get Access to Materials Exchange, your partner teams within WBD will manage the onboarding process according to expected delivery timelines. Once your onboarding starts, you will get an email from donotreply@wbdidentity.com with the subject: Welcome to WBD Okta! - Note that the invitation link in this email is only valid for 7 days. If you do not use the link within that period, your partner team within WBD will need to send you another invitation email.

You will also receive the full user guide to Materials Exchange from your partner teams within WBD.

Note: Currently, the recommended transfer mechanism for Materials Exchange is via IBM's Aspera for Desktop. The first time you land on the upload page in Materials Exchange, the application will prompt you to either install or open Aspera.

• If you do not have Aspera for Desktop, download and install it: https://ibmaspera.com/help/downloads/desktop
• Once you have installed it, run diagnostics to make sure it can run successfully: https://ibmaspera.com/help/diagnostics
• Return to Materials Exchange and refresh the page.
  • You may get a browser prompt asking you to “allow access to other apps on this device”. You will need to allow that access so that you can upload files via Aspera.

Content Validation and Rejection Process
